Ingredients
2 servings
150gfettucine
60gbutter
300gchicken breast
cut into strips
1garlic
crushed
90gbutton mushrooms
sliced
2 slicesham
chopped
180mlthickened cream
4 tspfresh basil
chopped
freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
Step 1
Cook fettucine according to packet instructions. Set aside and keep warm
Step 2
Melt half the butter in a frying pan and cook the chicken strips until just cooked. Remove from the pan and drain
Step 3
Melt the remaining butter in the pan and cook garlic and mushrooms over a high heat for 1 to 2 minutes. Add ham and cream, reduce the heat and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Step 4
Return the chicken to the pan, stir in the basil and cook until heated. Season to taste with black pepper
Step 5
Spoon the chicken mixture over the fettucine and serve.
