A favorite of mine growing up, feel free to substitute any variation of ground protein for venison as I realize that is more difficult to come by.

Instructions
Step 1
Cut potatoes into 4’s and add to pot of boiling water, cook until tender enough to poke with a fork
Step 2
Strain potatoes, put potatoes back into pot and mash with butter, milk, and garlic salt
Step 3
In separate pan cook venison until done, add seasonings, then add the packet of brown gravy mix along with the cup of cold water
Step 4
Mix gravy seasoning and water with the cooked meat and simmer for about 3-4 minutes to allow gravy to thicken
Step 5
Let meat gravy rest for 2 minutes, then plate the potatoes and top with venison gravy and enjoy
