Tuna Lemon Pasta

Instructions

Step 1
Boil the spaghetti until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
Melt one tablespoon of the butter and 2 tablespoons oil in a large saute pan. When hot add the sliced onions and season with salt and pepper to taste. Sauté until brown and cooked through.
Step 3
Add the garlic and stir for one minute until fragrant and cooked through.
Step 4
Add the tuna, lemon juice, and capers to taste, if using. Stir well to combine and heat through.
Step 5
When hot, add remaining 1 tablespoon butter to mixture and combine well once melted.
Step 6
Stir the pasta into the topping mixture in the sauté pan and combine well. Serve hot with additional salt and black pepper to taste.
