Instructions

Step 1
Add water to the pan. Add the oil, salt and sugar.

Step 2
Put in the flour. (Note: original recipe says 3⅓ cups which I converted to 579g flour, but the dough was too dry so I decreased it slightly.)

Make an indent in the flour heap, and add the yeast.

Put in machine AND SET TIMER FOR 45 MIN! Leave all settings on default except colour, change to LIGHT. (Setting: 1 (basic bread), loaf size 2lb)
Step 5
Make sure to scrape sides with spatula in the first 5 minutes to ensure everything mixes. Also check dough consistency: add flour if too sticky, water if too dry. Mixing cycle is only 10 min!
Step 6
After 45 minutes (at end of final kneading cycle, before it rests & bakes), remove paddle and shape loaf.
