Instructions

Step 1
Fill microwave safe container with water to 6oz mark.
Step 2
Pour rice into water until the water line rises approximately 4 oz.
Step 3
Set lid on container, but do not close unless there are vents in the lid.
Step 4
Microwave container on high for 3 minutes, followed by 50% power for 10 minutes. I recommend setting some paper towels or a dish towel underneath the container in the event that some water boils over.
Step 5
Let rice rest, covered, for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Check the rice. If it is fluffy and to your liking, enjoy! If it needs some more time, cook it at high heat for 1 minute.
