In a large skillet, saute the garlic and onions in olive oil. Add the shreds of cabbage and leftover ground beef and/ or chickpeas (add an extra can if there isn't enough). Pour the tomato sauce over this. Add in the vinegar and caraway or fennel seeds. Season with salt and pepper, and cayenne if you like it spicy. Allow it to simmer for about 30 minutes or so until the cabbage has softened. Add a little extra water or vegetables stock to keep it from drying out if need be.
