Instructions

Step 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9-inch round cake pan with cooking spray.

In large bowl, beat softened butter and sugars with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
Step 3
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Step 4
Stir in vanilla, flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
Step 5
Stir in the chopped apples and walnuts. Spoon into your greased pan.
Step 6
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool about 10-15 minutes. Cut the warm cake into slices and serve with ice cream.
