Ninfa’s Green Sauce
4 steps
Prep:30minCook:15min
For those of us who grew up in or near Houston, this creamy, pale green, slightly spicy, tangy salsa verde is comfort food. It's common in many restaurants in the Houston area, but its origins and popularity are credited to the original Ninfa's on Navigation, where it still shows up on the table automatically with complimentary baskets of warm tortilla chips and salsa roja. The recipe below makes approximately four cups.
