Ingredients

for the garlic and basil infused oil
For the sauce
2 canssan marzano tomatoes
crushed or whole
1onion
large, ends trimmed, peeled and cut in half
4 tablespoonsbutter

Instructions
For the garlic infused oil
Step 1
In a medium pot add your basil, garlic and oil, and bring to a simmer
Step 2
once oil is bubbling and the garlic can be mashed without much force let the oil cool down and blend
For the spaghetti sauce
Step 3
In a large pot lay the onions face down with the butter
Step 4
once the butter is brown add your cans of San Marzano tomatoes. If tomatoes are whole blend first.
Step 5
Combine garlic oil and sauce, and let simmer
Step 6
Once sauce has simmered for a while cook pasta and combine with the sauce
