Mum's healthy banana and oats 'cookies'
7 steps
Prep:10minCook:17min
Great way to use up old, spotty bananas.. the ones you look at and can't face anymore.
Not really cookies as they have no flour, eggs, sugar.. but you eat them the same way.
Feel free to change spices, add more spices, or fruit, or seeds and nuts. Maybe chocolate chips.. (calories won't be the same though :) )

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 190 reg, 170 fan
Step 2
In a bowl, mash bananas REALLY well until as few lumps remain as possible (helped me to microwave for a few seconds)
Step 3
Stir in oats, spice and anything else you wish to add
Step 4
Line a tray with baking paper because otherwise they will stick. Do not skip this step!
Step 5
If the mix is too wet (use your judgement- sloppy?) stir in a few more oats a tablespoon at a time
Step 6
Divide mix into 12 small (or 6 large) balls on the tray and flatten a bit - they won't spread or rise, so make them the shape you want them
Step 7
Bake for 17 mins, or until lightly brown on top
