Instructions
How to make pink chocolate for the mold
Step 1
First break 300g white chocolate into a Pyrex bowl.
Step 2
Then melt the chocolate over a saucepan of simmering water making sure the water doesn’t touch the bottom of the bowl, keep stirring until melted or melt in the microwave stirring every 30 secs until melted.
Step 3
Add a few drops of pink food coloring and mix until the color is even throughout.
How to make the chocolate heart mold
Step 4
Pour the melted chocolate into your heart shaped mould and spread a thin layer making sure that each heart is completely covered.
Step 5
Pop your heart mold in the fridge for 10 minutes.
Step 6
To keep the melted chocolate warm, place the bowl back over the sauce pan, this way you wont have to melt it again (don't place the pan on the heat)
Step 7
Once set give each heart another coat of melted chocolate ensuring the edges are well covered so they don’t break when you remove them from the silicon moulds.
Step 8
Put them back in the fridge for 10 more minutes.
Step 9
Once set you can pop out the chocolate and place onto a chopping board ready to top.
How to decorate your chocolate heart mold
Step 10
Break the 20g white chocolate into a glass Pyrex bowl.
Step 11
Now melt the chocolate over a saucepan of simmering water making sure the water doesn’t touch the bottom of the bowl or melt in the microwave stirring every 30 secs until melted.
Step 12
Place the melted white chocolate into a piping bag.
Step 13
Drizzle over each chocolate heart.
Step 14
Add I few pretty sprinkles to the top of your heart.
Step 15
Pop back into the fridge for another 10 minutes until set.
How to smash your chocolate heart
Step 16
When you’re ready you can share your Giant Chocolate Heart with family and friends by smashing it with a mini mallet.
