Instructions
Step 1
Adjust oven rack to Upper Middle position and heat oven to 450°
Step 2
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper
Step 3
Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt
Step 4
Microwave cream until just warmed to body temperature, 60-90 seconds, stirring halfway through microwaving. Stir cream into the flour mixture until a soft, uniform dough forms
Step 5
Spray a 1/3 cup dry measuring cup with vegetable oil spray and drop level scoops of batter, 2 in apart on the prepared sheet
Step 6
Respray the measuring cup after every 3 or 4 scoops
Step 7
Bake until tops are light and golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes, rotating the sheet halfway through baking
Step 8
Brush hot biscuits with melted butter and serve warm
