Step 1
1. Cook ground beef in large pan until cooked through and brown. Transfer to large pot over low heat.
Step 2
2. Add kidney beans, lentils, chili powder, garlic powder, and fresh garlic to ground beef and stir occasionally.
Step 3
3. Cook all chopped/diced vegetables in a frying pan in the oil of your preference until soft. Transfer to pot with the ground beef. (Feel free to add any other vegetable to this recipe that you have in your fridge or that you like.)

4. Add crushed tomatoes to your desired consistency. Add more chili powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Add any other spices you want to taste.

5. Cook on medium-low until flavours are to your satisfaction or you are ready to eat.
Step 6
6. Serve over any grain (recommend rice or quinoa) with a sprinkling of grated cheddar cheese to your liking.
