Ingredients for meatballs
1 lbsmeat 85
Chopped /15
ground pork
½ cupbread crumb
1onion
good size, chopped
1egg
½ cupwater
Italian spices
Whatever dry, you like
28 ozcan of crushed tomatoes
28 ozcan of tomato purée
28 ozcan of tomato sauce
can of tomato paste
Small
onion
large, chopped
1garlic cloves
chopped
olive oil
¼ cupsugar
salt
pepper
crushed red pepper
spices
Instructions
Step 1
Ingredients for meatballs 1 or 2 lbs Chopped meat 85/15 About a pound of ground pork Half a cup of bread crumb One good size onion, chopped 1 egg 1/2 cup water Whatever dry Italian spices you like Mix everything together and make whatever size meatballs you want
Step 2
For sauce Heat the oil, sauté the onions. Add the garlic and cook a bit longer. Then add everything else. The order you add it doesn't matter. Give it a good mix, let the tomato paste melt a bit then add the meatballs. Make sure you gently submerge them in the sauce. Cover it and let it simmer. The longer it cooks the better it is but, it's pretty much done in about an hour
