Tomato Mozarella Pesto Puffs

Nothing can beat the combination of tomato mozarella and basil pesto now add that to store bought puff pastry and you have quick delicious snack or appetizers

Step 1

Roll out a sheet of puff pastry and cut into 8 squares . Double the recipe if making for more than 4 persons .

Step 2

Put a tablespoon of pesto in the centre of each one and spread it leaving a small border around the outside . Add sliced cherry tomatoes and ripped mozarella . Season with pepper then pinch the corners together toward the middle . Brush with egg wash or milk and bake at 200 c / 400 f fan setting for 15 minutes

Step 3

I like to drizzle balsamic glaze on top as it really accentuates the flavors
