The Ancestors blessed me with this TriniToast recipe, (it's French Toast but this is a curse word, don't say it) last year and I never released the post...until now! I just couldn't give this recipe to ya'll until it was perfect! SO DIG IN BABYYY !!

Step 1
Add all of the custard ingredients into a bowl and whisk well

Cut Challah Bread into 1 in. thick slices

Soak each slice in the custard for 1 min. on each side

Preheat your cast iron skillet to med-high & your oven to 420 degrees

Add grapeseed oil (any high heat oil) and 1 tbsp of butter to skillet

Once the butter is bubbling, add your slices and cook ONE SIDE until golden brown and crispy

Flip the slices over, butter the cooked side and add another tab of butter to the skillet

Place your cast iron into the oven for 2-5 minutes, depending on how crispy you like it

Add your Brown Butta Sawce, chopped pecans & whipped cream
