You can use any store bought plain scone mix and transform it into these delicious scones. The Bailey’s Irish cream glaze tops it off.

Step 1
Use any store bought scone mix but ignore their directions. Instead mix the scone mix in a bowl with the 1/4 cup cocoa powder, heavy cream, coffee liquor, butter and sugar. Form into a dough. Don’t over work it. Just enough until it forms a dough. Roll out into an 8” circle. Cut into 8 wedges. Bake on parchment line paper at 450 for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven. Let cool slightly. In a bowl mix the confectioners sugar, the 1 Tbs cocoa powder, Baileys and water. You want a thick glaze the consistency of pancake batter so add more confectioners sugar if necessary. While scones are still a little warm drizzle the glaze over each scone. Enjoy
