Instructions
Step 1
Cook squash and onion in sauce pan in butter until tender.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, combine soup and sour cream.
Step 3
Fold in squash and onion mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Put seasoning mix from stove top stuffing in butter that is left in sauce pan from cooking squash. Add stuffing bits and mix until moistened.
Step 5
Spread 2/3 of stuffing mix on bottom of casserole dish.
Step 6
Cover with squash mixture.
Step 7
Sprinkle with grated cheese and rest of stuffing mixture.
Step 8
Bake at 350° for 30-45 minutes.
