Foolproof fudge that is made in double boiler. Or bowl over saucepan.

Step 1
Lightly grease 8 x 8 inch square pan lined with parchment paper with overhang to help pull out of pan.
In large heatproof bowl combine chocolate, milk, vanilla, salt and butter, set aside.
Place a saucepan on heat filled 1/4 full of water. Bring to boil. Reduce to simmer and place bowl over water, not touching bottom. Cook, stirring frequently, about 8 min, or until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Pour quickly into pan, mixture will be thick. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Cut into squares.
