This is an air fryer recipe for fried mushrooms! They’re made with whole mushrooms tossed in seasoned batter and panko breadcrumbs then air-fried without all the extra oil!

Wipe mushrooms clean with a damp cloth and cut stems just below the cap of the mushroom.

Add butter and panko to a microwave-safe dish and microwave for 1-2 minutes until golden brown, stirring every 30 seconds.

In a bowl, mix eggs, hot sauce, Worcestershire, salt, and black pepper. Dip each mushroom into the egg mixture, followed by breadcrumbs. Remove any excess

Spray oil on the inside of the air fryer basket and add a single layer of mushrooms. Cook at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
