Chocolate chip bars
These chocolate chip bars are taken from an old recipe from my Austrian grandma, my Oma, that I adapted by adding chocolate chips. They're quick and easy to. make, and I especially like when they're still warm and the chocolate is melted. I also love to dip them in hot milk for breakfast.

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350F. Make sure the butter is softened, I put it in the microwave for 30-45 seconds.
OvenPreheat
Step 2
Combine the flour, the butter, the sugar in a bowl kneading with your hands.
Step 3
Add the milk, combine with a whisk and then knead with your hands.
Step 4
Finally, add the baking powder and the chocolate chips and keep kneading.
Step 5
Put the dough in the pan, stretching it to make sure it covers the entire surface of the pan. I’m using a silicon loaf pan, if you have a metal one, make sure to grease it with butter or canola oil or to add parchment paper on it.
Step 6
Bake for 40-45 min.
Step 7
Let the loaf cool down for 10 minutes. Slice into rectangles and enjoy!
