Line two 1lb loaf tins

Preheat oven to 180c
Step 3
Cream the butter, sugar and extract. Whisk in the egg and broken banana pieces.

Sieve in the flour, baking soda and salt. Stir until combined. Stir in the broken walnuts and chopped dates.

Transfer to prepared tins and bake for 40 min / 1 hour.
