Ingredients

1 cupunsalted butter
melted and cooled slightly
1 ⅔ cupsbrown sugar
packed
⅔ cupgranulated sugar
2eggs
room temperature
1egg yolk
room temperature
1 tablespoonvanilla extract
2 ¼ cupsall purpose flour
spooned and leveled
2 tablespoonscorn starch
1 teaspoonbaking powder
1 teaspoonsalt
1 cupbutterscotch
peanut butter, semi-sweet, or white chocolate chips
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F degrees. Lightly grease a 13 x 9 baking pan and line with parchment paper. Set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugars. Stir well to combine.
Step 3
1 cup unsalted butter,1 ⅔ cups brown sugar,⅔ cup granulated sugar
Step 4
Stir in eggs, egg yolk and vanilla extract until completely combined.
Step 5
2 eggs,1 egg yolk,1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Step 6
Add flour, corn starch, baking powder and salt. Stir just until combined.
Step 7
Fold in chips of your choice.
Step 8
Transfer batter to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Step 9
Bake for 22 to 27 minutes or until an inserted toothpick near the edge comes out with just a few moist crumbs
Step 10
Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.
