uncooked
¼ cupparmesan cheese
plus more for serving
1 Tbspfresh parsley
chopped, plus more for serving
⅓ tspcayenne
⅓ tspgarlic powder
⅓ tsppaprika
⅓ tsponion powder
⅓ tsporegano
⅓ tspthyme
⅓ tspsalt
⅓ tsppepper
Instructions
Step 1
In sm. bowl, combine all spices & mix; set aside. (Store any extra spice in an airtight container for future use.)
Step 2
In heavy-bottom pot (Dutch oven), heat 3/4T olive oil over med. Add chicken spiced with 1T of spices. Add andouille sausage; cook until chicken is no longer pink (4-5 min.). Remove meat from pot.
Step 3
Add remaining olive oil, garlic, diced peppers, & onions; cook until onions are transparent & soft (about 5 min.). Add milk & stir to incorporate seasoning into liquid.
Step 4
Turn heat up & bring to boil.; add fettuccine, stirring constantly until al dente (10 min.)
Step 5
Add meat back to pot & stir to evenly incorporate; remove from heat. Add cheese & parsley; stir before serving.
