Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

This is one of the easiest yet absolutely delicious pasta dishes that I make. It comes together so fast, on the table in 30 minutes it’s perfect for those busy days…..

Instructions

Step 1
1. Boil pasta according to package instructions, reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
Step 2
2. Cut the chicken breasts into small pieces, season the chicken with Cajun, chili powder, paprika, black pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
Step 3
3. Heat the oil on medium-high heat, add in the chicken and cook until fully cooked through and golden. Remove chicken from pan.
Step 4
4. To the Same pan add butter, garlic, onion, bell pepper and cook for a couple of minutes. Add in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, the seasonings and give it a good mix.
Step 5
5. Add in the cooked pasta along with 1/2 cup of pasta water. Return the chicken back to the pan, toss everything together really well. Let everything cook together for about a minute just until everything is heated through.
Step 6
6. Serve immediately, right before serving, garnish with parsley and more Parmesan cheese and enjoy.
