Shortcut pastry
Step 1
Mix flour, sugar and baking powder in a food processor. Add the butter in cubes, and run until you have a crumbly mass. Add the egg and mix until a dough ball is formed.
Step 2
Divide the dough into 16 pieces. Press or roll out the parts and place in greased mazarine molds (disposable molds work well). Place the molds in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Filling
Step 3
Mix almond paste and sugar. Add butter and stir until you have a smooth and even batter. Stir in the eggs, one at a time.
Step 4
Spread some strawberry jam on the bottom of each mold. Then distribute the almond mass filling in the molds. Place the molds on baking paper-lined plates and bake in the middle of the oven for 15-18 minutes. Let them cool.
Glaze
Step 5
Mix the ingredients. Spread the glaze over the mazarines. Garnish when serving with small halved strawberries.
