Instructions

Step 1
preheat oven to 170 and line and butter 2 4-inch sandwich tins
Step 2
cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. mix in the egg and vanilla until well combined
Step 3
fold in the flour and baking powder and add milk until perfect consistency is reached
Step 4
bake for 17-20 mins
Step 5
assemble with jam and cream in the centre
