Instructions
Step 1
Bring walnut halves, water and sugar to a boil for 2 minutes. Remove walnuts with a slotted spoon and let them dry on a piece of parchment paper. Set aside.
Step 2
Preheat oil to 375ºF.
Step 3
In a large bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy and add the cornstarch and salt to make a batter.
Step 4
Dip shrimp into the batter and fry for about 2-3 minutes, until shrimp is cooked and the outsides are nice and crispy. Set aside on a paper towel and season with salt.
Step 5
In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, honey and sweetened condensed milk.
Step 6
Add shrimp and walnuts to the bowl. Toss until all the shrimp are coated and serve with rice.
