Instant Affogato with Coffee Ice Cream

Doubled down on the coffee for this one I used instant coffee to make a poor mans “espresso” and poured it over Trader Joe’s coffee ice cream and boy oh boy am I glad I did! I mean, their ice cream is divine as is— but as an affogato it was a whole other level of yum

Step 1

Boil water to make your instant coffee. Combine hot water to 1 tbsp instant coffee. Voila you can call that a poor-man's espresso.

Step 2

Soften your icecream if needed, otherwise take two scoops and put it in a cup.

Step 3

Poor your "espresso" over the icecream
