Instructions

Step 1
Brownie batter: Start by combining your chocolate chips, hot browned butter, cocoa powder, coffee, and vanilla. Allow mixture to cool down before adding the brown sugar and eggs. Fold in the flour, toasted milk powder if using, and chocolate chips.
Step 2
Reserve a 1/4 cup of brownie batter for the swirls later. Transfer mixture to a 9x9 baking dish lined with parchment paper.
Step 3
Cheesecake batter: Beat the room temperature cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla together until mixture is smooth. Mix in the eggs, and do not over beat. Spread evenly on top of the brownie batter.
Step 4
With the reserved brownie batter, mix in a tablespoon of hot water to thin it out. Put dollops of the brownie batter on top of the cheesecake layer and swirl using a skewer.
Step 5
Bake at 350F for 10 minutes then reduce oven temperature to 325F and bake another 30 minutes. It will be done when the edges are set but the center still wobbles a bit. Let it cool to room temperature, and then refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Enjoy!
