Marinade
Step 1
Throw all marinade ingredients into a bowl and mix around. Put in fridge and let it sit for a minimum of 1 hour or max 24 hours
Flour Mix
Step 2
Add all ingredients in a medium sized container
Step 3
Take chicken out of marinade and place in resting tray to let the excess marinade to drop off.
Then mix in with flour mix until fully covered.
Once all chicken thighs are covered, repeat the process again but dipping them into the buttermilk marinade again
Air Fry
Step 4
Place coated chicken into air fryer and cook @ 180C for 15 mins. Do not stack chicken - ensure only one layer per batch.
Step 5
Check and flip the chicken in the air fryer. Then air fry again @ 180C for 3 mins.
Step 6
Check chicken and confirm it is over 70°C. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the remainder of the chicken
Step 7
Serve with bread rolls and any other desired condiments
