For the chicken & brine
For the seasoned flour
2 cupsflour
1chicken bouillon cubes
Tablet
3 Tbsppowdered sugar
2 tspsalt
1 tspblack pepper
2 Tbspcayenne pepper
1 Tbspgarlic powder
1 tsponion powder
1 tspchili powder
1 tsppaprika
2 tspbaking powder
For eggwash
For the Honey roasted BBQ
For sandwich assembling
Instructions
Prep
Step 1
In a bowl Start off by adding your chicken into the brine and allow it marinade in the fridge for 2-4 hours for better flavor
Step 2
In a separate bowl Add all the seasoning listed to flour & set aside
Step 3
In another bowl add the ingredients listed for honey roasted BBQ mix , taste & adjust if needed. Then set aside
Step 4
In another bowl make the egg-wash and set. Aside
Frying & Battering
Step 5
In a large pot at the oil and bring it up to 355 degrees
Step 6
Coat the chicken the flour, then egg wash, the flour again. Allow to sit on a drying rack for 2-3 min .
Step 7
Add the chicken to the oil and fry for 5-6 min or until cooked through. Should come out nice & golden brown!
Step 8
Toast your bun , and assemble your sandwich & enjoy & don’t forget to dip in your homemade sauce !
