Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2
Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Step 3
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Step 4
Add baking soda to batter along with salt.
Step 5
Stir in flour, and chocolate chips. Do not overbeat. Scoop onto ungreased pans.
Step 6
Refrigerate batter for 30 minutes to an hour.
Step 7
Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Take pan out of the oven, leave cookies in pan for 5 minutes. Then transfer to a baking rack to cool down.
