Instructions
Step 1
Dice up half a sweet onion, 3 garlic cloves, and a green pepper.
Step 2
Heat one tsp of olive oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat and add your veggies.
Step 3
Season with 1 tbsp of McCormicks Montreal steak and one tsp of garlic powder. Cook until almost soft. Remove from heat and place in a separate bowl.
Step 4
In the same sauté pan lay 8 sheets of frozen Steakumms sliced steak. Cook over medium high heat breaking it up with a spatula as it thaws. Once no longer frozen add seasoning of one tbsp of McCormicks Montreal Steak and one tsp of garlic powder. Drain off any excess fatty liquid once steak is browned and place it in a separate bowl.
Step 5
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 6
Coat your muffin pan with a nonstick cooking spray.
Step 7
Using Pillsbury’s flakey biscuit dough (8 per roll) spread each dough ball into a big long oval shape and slice it directly down the middle (I used a pizza cutter). Lay each semicircle side by side and press dough together to connect your pieces.
Step 8
Lay three thin slices of white American cheese (which totaled one deli slice) and sprinkle some shredded mozzarella on top towards the bottom of the semicircles (along the flat side). Layer on top your steak and then your onions and pepper mixture.
Step 9
Starting on one end roll it up forming what looks almost like a rose or flower and place it inside your muffin tin. You will get eight in total.
Step 10
Bake for 15-20 min. The exterior will be golden brown and the interior should be gooey from the cheese but still throughly cooked.
Step 11
Eat as is or drizzle your favorite aioli or sauce right on top.
