Instructions

Step 1
Enjoy!!! 😉
Step 2
Preparation
Step 3
In one bowl put together farmer’s cheese, sugar, salt, and egg. Mash the mass with a fork.
Step 4
Slowly mix in the flour. When the dough will be hard to stir then knead it with hands. I used exactly 150 g (1 1/4 cup) of flour, but if your farmer’s cheese is moister and the dough still sticks to your hands, then add more flour. The dough shouldn’t stick to your hands too much, it should be soft and elastic.
Step 5
When the dough is ready, sprinkle the table with some flour and divide the dough into several pieces. Roll strings from those pieces, flatten each dough string a little and cut into desired size pieces. Place the dumplings on a floury plate or on a cutting board.
Step 6
Bring to a boil water in a pot, gradually add all dumplings, boil them over a medium heat, stir gently and move the pot a bit so that the dumplings wouldn’t stick together. Cook dumplings until they come up to the surface and then boil for another 3-4 min. Serve with your favorite jam and sour cream.
Step 7
>> If you don’t want sweet dumplings, then don’t add sugar to the dough.
Step 8
>> You can also serve dumplings with sour cream and sugar.
Step 9
>> Jei nenorite saldžių virtinukų, tuomet į tešlą nedėkite cukraus.
Step 10
>> Išvirtus virtinukus taip pat galite pagardinti grietine ir cukrumi.
