Instructions

Step 1
Blend tomato paste, onion, and garlic with 1/4 cup of water.
Step 2
Heat oil in saucepan over medium high heat. Add rice and toast, stirring constantly.
Step 3
Add puree to rice and cook for about 1 minute.
Step 4
Add remaining water (1 1/2 c), bouillon, and salt. Bring to a boil.
Step 5
Cover, turn heat to low and simmer until rice is done (18 minutes for white, 35 minutes for brown).
Step 6
Let rest 10 minutes before fluffing and serving.
