Have you ever heard of PIDE PIZZA? 🍕
It is the Turkish version of the Italian classic and they’re super easy to make! 😍
They are super fun to make and perfect for a dinner party! Also, they are very quick to make as this dough only needs 1 hour to proof 🤌
You can add your favourite toppings on top of your pizza and you can replace regular mozzarella with a plant based alternative to make it vegan 🌱

Step 1
In a bowl, add milk, water, olive oil, dry yeast, sugar and whisk everything together.
Step 2
Incorporate flour little by little, add salt and knead for about 8/10 mins.
Step 3
Cover with a clean towel and proof for 1 hour.
Step 4
Flour a clean surface then roll out your dough into a thin rectangle then cut it into 6 smaller rectangles.
Step 5
Add some grated mozzarella at the centre of each rectangle then pinch the shorter sides to form a little “boat”.
Step 6
Place your pizzas on a baking tray previously lined with parchment paper.
Step 7
Spread some tomato passata and your favourite toppings and bake for 20-25 mins (180C/360F).
Step 8
Add some mozzarella on top, drizzle some extra virgin olive oil and bake for 5 more mins. Buon appetito!
