Instructions

Tips for focaccia art!

Step 1
* oiling your vegetables/herbs helps prevent them from burning while they bake
Step 2
*baking at a slightly lower temperature than recipe calls for will help to preserve the natural colours of the vegetables/toppings you’ve used.
Step 3
*You will need to bake a bit longer than normal at a lower temp, so just tent some foil over the art when it’s reached your desired colour on the top. It will continue baking but will stop browning.
Step 4
*baking on the lowest rack in oven helps to prevent it from getting too dark too.
Step 5
*some bigger veggies can be cut using cookie cutters like I did with the pumpkins in this one.
Step 6
*seeds or dried herbs make a great “soil”
Step 7
*edible flowers make a beautiful addition too!
