Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Grease a 8x8 square baking pan with cooking spray, and line with parchment paper. Set aside.
Step 3
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until combined. Set aside.
Step 4
In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream butter and sugars on low, and increasing to high for 3 minutes.
Step 5
Add egg and vanilla and beat until combined.
Step 6
Remove dough from the stand mixer stand and add flour, chocolate chunks, and chocolate chips. Mix by hand until just combined.
Step 7
Press the cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
Step 8
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are set and the top is turning a light golden brown.
Step 9
Cool on a cooling rack for about 30minutes before slicing.
Step 10
Lift cookie bars out of the pan using the parchment paper, cut into squares and serve!
