I made this for a get together with friends. It has a nice tangy flavor. Comments in the original link recommended baking the bottom layer of crescent roll by itself first. This was to prevent the bottom from being too doughy. I didn't do this. The bottom of the middle pieces were slightly doughy but since everyone loved them and they've been requested again I don't think it's needed.
