My first experience with swedish meatballs was at IKEA, so that is my baseline. I followed this recipe as is, except I used Trader Joe's party meatballs for convenience. I think they turned it pretty good. Maybe a little too allspicey for my taste, but all in all very good and very easy. Update: I tried again and used 1/4 teaspoon of allspice and it was just about perfect.

Fantastic and so easy! I make them with vegetarian meatballs, vegan cream and vegan butter.
