or use 1%,2%, or whole milk

2 cupslow sodium chicken broth

¼ cupflour

2 cupschicken
cooked, shredded or diced into small peices

1 cupfrozen peas

1 cupfrozen corn

1 cupcelery
diced

1yellow onion
medium diced

1 cupcarrots
large diced

4 clovesgarlic
or about 1-2 tbsp minced from jar

¼ tspturmeric
optional, but does give the soup the rich golden yellow color

4 sprigsfresh thyme
you can do 1/4 tsp dry, but really recommend the fresh if you can find it easily
