Instant Pot Butter Chicken

My husband and toddler LOVED this; totally would make again. Reduced pepper to 1/4 tsp

I added 2 tbsp tomato paste to the recipe and it was great! Note: I was crunched for time and pan fried the chicken with seasoning and cut into cubes before throwing into the sauce. I also added a tsp of curry to the sauce and it was excellent.

LOVED THIS RECIPE. I love Indian cuisine but live in a rural area that doesn't have that option for take out. This was such an easy recipe and absolutely delicious. You can easily adjust the spice level for kiddos but my kids loved it. I did add some more of the spices after the cook time and before blending. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely yummy. Nicest curry I've ever made. Just the right amount of spice and really simple to make. Too spicy for the kids though.

It was easy to make, but I found it somewhat bland considering all of the spices it contains.

Very easy! Although I ended up adding quite a bit more cayenne than the recipe called for, but it was really good! Adding an edit: I’ve made this a half dozen times and it’s just always easy and tasty and amazing. The base recipe is very mild, but spice can be easily increased. Strong recommend!

Used coconut milk and it made it very thin but it was delicious

Pretty good. I think if I had used cream instead of coconut milk it would have turned out a little creamier, but I'm pleased with the flavor profile overall.

We eat this Butter chicken at least every 2-3 weeks. It is DELICIOUS and so easy my 9 year helps make it! The notes about extra sauce are hilarious though.... we eat it over rice with naan and that "extra sauce" gets soaked right up!

Followed recipie to the T and ended up with milk sogged chicken without any flavor.

Came together quickly, and easy to add more spice if desired. Definitely will make again!
