Brown Butter Sage Gnocchi

Instructions

Step 1
Cook gnocchi in a pot of boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Swirl the butter often until bubbly and starting to turn golden, about 3 minutes. Add the sage leaves and continue to stir until the butter is light brown and smells nutty, about 2 more minutes.
Step 3
Add the drained gnocchi to the brown butter. Stir to combine and cook for another minute. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Serve immediately with freshly grated parmesan cheese.
