use more peppers if you prefer your Jollof rice extremely spicy

4 cupssella basmati rice
golden, or any long-grain, cleaned

½ cupvegetable cooking oil

4 Tbsptomato paste

1seasoning cube
bouillon cubes

1 tspthyme

1 ½ tspcurry powder

1 ½ tspsalt
or to taste

5bay leaves

5 cupschicken stock
water or a combination of both, use stock reserved from boiling the chicken
