These Cajun butter steak tips are quick, flavorful, and perfect for any weeknight dinner. With just a handful of ingredients and a few minutes in a hot skillet, you’ll have tender, juicy bites of steak that are loaded with bold Cajun flavor.

Instructions

Step 1
In a small bowl, liberally season the steak pieces with the Cajun seasoning. Set them aside to marinate while you preheat your pan.
Step 2
Place a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and let it preheat for a few minutes. Once it's hot, drizzle in the olive oil and add 1 tbsp of butter, swirling to coat the pan.
Step 3
Once the butter has fully melted, place the steak tips in a single layer, making sure they’re spaced out. Sear the steak tips for 1 minute, then flip them using tongs.
Step 4
Add a small pat of butter to the center of the pan, and cook the steak for another 2 minutes before removing from the pan. Repeat the process, adding more oil and butter if needed, until all the steak tips are seared.
Step 5
After all the steak tips are seared, pour them along with their juices back into the pan. Add any remaining butter, spread the steak tips into an even layer, and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, depending on your preferred doneness.
Step 6
Remove from the skillet and let the steak tips rest on a plate for about 10 minutes before serving. Dassit!
