Step 1
1. In a mixer bowl, add your yeast, and warm water. Let that sit for 5 minutes, or until foamy. While that is sitting, heat up your milk, add your stick of butter, and let melt together. 2. Now that the yeast is activated, add your sugar, eggs and milk/butter mixture to the bowl. Whisk that together until smooth. Add your flour, a cup at a time to ensure there are no clumps in the dough. 3. Cover with plastic wrap and a cloth, and let rise for 45 minutes to 1 hour. 4. Remove cloth, and plastic wrap and knead the dough on a floured surface for 15 minutes. 5. Roll out your dough, and cut out your doughnuts using a doughnut cutter. 6. Heat up a pot of vegetable oil to 350°F, and fry your doughnuts on each side until golden brown. Enjoy!!
