Instructions
Step 1
1. Pour water into a larger dish (baño maria)

2. Preheat oven 425°

3. Mix flan ingredients

4. Melt 1/2 cup of sugar on med high. Make sure you are constantly mixing it it will burn fast and the smell is horrible if you leave it unattended.

5. Pour caramelized sugar, rotate pan so sugar gets on all sides.

6. Pour flan mixture on top

7. Cover and put in oven for about 30 mins.

8. Take flan out and lower oven to 350°

9. Prepare cake mix. Spray pan on the sides and pour cake mix slowly on top of the flan

10. Cover your cake pan and put back in the oven for about 1 hr (when timer is up check cake with toothpick. Make sure it comes out clean )

11. Once cooked let it cool completely. DO NOT FLIP WHILE HOT. IT WILL FALL APART.

12. Flip it over on a flat dish once completely cool. I like to refrigerate mine for a couple more hours and serve cold. Enjoy 🍮💕
