Instructions

Step 1
Place the almonds in your blender/food processor and blend until you have a coarse sand-like consistency

Mix the ground almonds with the rest of the dry ingredients
Step 3
In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients
Step 4
Gradually add dry to wet ingredients and mix until a workable dough forms (it might seem too dry, but just keep mixing) then divide into 10 pieces
Step 5
Flatten the dough balls by hand until you have round disks (around 1/2 or 1 cm thick) and dip into a plate with sesame seeds
Step 6
Place cookies in the freezer for 20 minutes
Step 7
Preheat oven to 175C
Step 8
After the 20 minutes are over, bake for 9-12 minutes or until slightly golden, and let cool before serving
