Instructions

Step 1
Brown the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat; whisk constantly while heating until it browns and gives off a nutty aroma; remove from heat and let cool

Mix the brown butter and sugars until well combined
Step 3
Beat in the egg, egg yolk, vanilla, and yogurt until well combined
Step 4
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, beating on low speed until combined

Add all chocolate chips and mix on low speed until incorporated into the dough

For Cookies: Arrange dough into balls, spreading about 2 inches apart on cookie sheet For Cookie Bars: Grease the baking pan with cooking spray. Spread dough evenly throughout the baking pan, about 1/2 inch thick (may require more than one pan, depending on size)

Chill dough for 1 - 2 hours in the refrigerator

Once the dough is chilled, preheat the oven to the proper temperature (350°F for cookies and 375°F for cookie bars). Let the dough thaw out a bit while the oven preheats

For Cookies: Bake 9 - 11 minutes or until the edges of the cookies begin to turn golden brown For Cookie Bars: Bake 18 - 20 minutes or until the edges of the cookie begin to turn golden brown They may look a little underdone in the middle, but will continue to cook out of the oven

Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes, then sprinkle them with sea salt. Once they cool completely, enjoy!
